Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call at the Katy apartment complex Saturday night where a 39-year-old man was found deceased at the scene. A 16-year-old teen has been charged with the murder.

A 16-teen-year-old Katy teen has been charged with murder. Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a disturbance call Saturday night around 10:46 p.m. to the Cornerstone Ranch Apartments at 2002 South Mason Road in Katy.

When deputies arrived, they found 39-year-old Randall Jolley unresponsive and on the floor from what appeared to be a stab wound.

Jolley was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel.

According to officials, Jolley and his fiancé has been having a verbal argument when the fiance’s teenage son stepped in and stabbed the victim.

HCSO investigators will continue to follow-up on this murder. The teenage suspect was identified and charged with murder at the scene.

The suspect, who’s name has not been released, has been booked into the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department.

This once again proves that many Harris County murders are committed by those the victim knew as domestic disturbances continues to lead in county deaths.
