The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office has launched a new and innovative mobile app that will “redefine the way residents interact with law enforcement.”

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office launched their new mobile app today. The app is free and available to download.

"Our mobile app represents a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to engage with residents, promote transparency, and enhance public safety," says Fort Bend County Sheriff Eric Fagan. “By harnessing the power of technology, we aim to empower our community with the tools and information necessary to actively contribute to the safety and well-being of Fort Bend County."

The app will change the way residents interact with law enforcement and access critical resources within the community. The app is a customized smartphone app to serve as a centralized platform for information, services, and updates pertinent to the Sheriff’s Office and public safety.

Key features include:

  • Real-Time Alerts and Blog Posts

  • Jail Inquiry

  • Inmate Resources

  • Community Outreach Programs

  • Non-emergency Reporting

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office encourages all residents to download the app, now available for free on both iOS and Android devices.

“Over 80 percent of people in the United States own and use smartphones as their primary means of communication,” says OCV Partner and CRO Kevin Cummings. “Mobile apps offer agencies a better way to alert, inform and prepare the public. Apps allow public safety agencies the ability to reach and serve their citizens where they are: their smartphones.”
