Get ready for another Easter season in Katy! The Easter Bunny will visit and leave eggs with lots of fun for Katy families! Check out these events for an egg-cellent time!


UPDATE: Inclement weather is forcing some events to make changes. This story will continue to be updated, but always check before attending your event.

It's easy to find great families events to celebrate Easter in Katy. From festivals with egg hunts perfect for each age to a telling of the Easter Story; Katy families have a ton of options. Don't forget to check you neighborhood or church of more events.





Saturday, April 8, 2023

10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.


Smith Ranch

25440 Beckendorff Road


Egg hunts, Easter Bunny photos, bounce houses, paddle boats, petting zoo, concessions, beer, wine, mimosas, & more! $20 admission per person. The Egg Hunt times will be at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. Don't forget your basket!

The Fellowship

Bring the family out to Easter Jam for inflatables, games, music, and the Easter story. This event is free and open to the public! Food will be available for purchase for families to tailgate. Plus the Easter Bunny will be there, so bring your cameras!

Katy Heritage Park

UPDATE: Drive down George Bush Park Drive for a Drive-Thru Easter Event between 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.


Enjoy crafts, a petting zoo, egg hunt, face painting, balloon art, science experiments, and so much more at this event for Katy Heritage Society members. This event is free (donations accepted) for current members. If you are currently not a member, a membership can be purchased for $25 per household and gets you into this event and so much more. Join online. Everyone must have a ticket. Get them online.

Katy City Park

UPDATE: Due to the weather, this event will be a drive-thru event. Drive through the VFW parking lot during the time of the event for a special treat.


Family can enjoy this great event hosted by the City of Katy Parks and Recreation and Parkway Fellowship North. Enjoy a variety of crafts and activities, bounces houses, petting zoo, treats, a virtual pet adoption, and of course an egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will also make an appearance.


Egg Hunt Times: 10:30 a.m. on Field 1 (ages 0-4.) 10:45 a.m. on Field 2 (ages 8+,) 11:00 a.m. on Field 1 (ages 5-7)

Venture Christian Church

Bring the family to Katy’s First Baptist Church for a wonderful morning with FREE egg hunts, bouncy houses, games, and more!

Trinity Baptist Church

Trinity Baptist Church in Katy hosts their annual Easter Egg Hunt for children 6th grade and younger. Activities include age-appropriate egg hunts and children’s Easter messages shared by their Bible Study teachers.



 


Now through April 16

Monday through Friday, 11p.m. – 7p.m.

Saturdays 10 a.m.- 8 p.m.

Sundays 12p.m. – 6p.m.
