For diners who can handle the heat, Buffalo Wild Wings offers a Blazin’ Wings Challenge. For $12.00, patrons get a dozen of the chain’s chicken wings slathered in their signature “Blazin'” sauce. Diners who complete the challenge receive a t-shirt, and their photo posted on the wall of fame, or should it be called the wall of "flame"?

Only the bravest diners can take the heat of the Spicy Miso Shouyu Ramen. Samurai Noodles rates this soup four out of five on their spicy scale. The name says it all...this taco is practically on fire. The Brushfire Taco combines Jamaican jerk chicken, grilled jalapenos, mango, sour cream and cilantro. However, the chef's diablo sauce make this dish one of Torchy’s spicier tacos. Diners may need a hose to cool off the head-sweating blast from the Brushfire Taco.

4. SOUTH TEXAS FIRE

BB's brings the heat of New Orleans to Katy. Try their pepper-jacked-up beef fajita topped with melted pepper jack cheese, avocado, sauteed jalapeno peppers, and onions. For even more heat, the chef adds a spicy pepper cheese sauce.

Diners ready to play with fire order BB's 509 Voodoo cocktail. This spicy, spirited Bloody Mary gets kicked up by the bold flavors of Zing Zang mix.

5. OCTOPUS CARPACCIO

2404 Texmati Dr.

This dish is not on the traditional menu as it's only served when the kitchen has fresh octopus. Enjoy a fresh, new delicious take the classic octopus carpaccio in Kokai's popular but HOT sauce. Don't forget to ask for it next time you are at Kokai, if you dare!

Tiger Noodle House labels their spicy menu offerings with a chili pepper image. Tiger's Chengdu Grilled Sliced Fish has earned the double-pepper honors for its spiciness. Swai fish is served sauteed with bell peppers, onions, and bamboo. The true heat comes from Tiger's secret recipe of chili bean paste and lots of Chinese herbal ingredients! The entree serves about 2-3 people.

Burger lovers who can handle their spicy peppers should try Red Robin's Burnin' Love Burger. Some might find the burger's size tough to handle, but the flavor explosion makes up for the napkin casualties. The specialty burger, served on a jalapeño-cornmeal kaiser roll, comes layered with crispy jalapeno coins, house-made salsa, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and chipotle mayo.
