Deputies arrested a suspect for the burglaries of a preschool and multiple homes after residents in Katy's Cornerstone Place subdivision reported a suspicious man climbing property fences.

Burglary of Multiple Katy Homes and Preschool
Precinct 5 deputies arrested Brian Thomas Stone, 30, on Saturday, July 7 at the 22400 block of Wildwood Grove in the Cornerstone Place subdivision. Stone is a suspect in multiple home burglaries and the Primrose of Cinco Ranch preschool at the 1500 block of South Peek Road.
Residents Witnessed Suspect Climbing Fences
On Saturday, residents notified authorities when they witnessed a suspicious man climbing over fences in the Cinco Ranch and Cornerstone Place neighborhoods.
K-9 Unit Helps Find Suspect
Precinct 5 deputies set up a perimeter in the area, and, with the help of a K-9 unit from the Harris County Sheriff's Office, were able to find and arrest Stone without further incident.
Possessed Multiple Stolen Items
Once in custody, the deputies discovered Stone had multiple stolen items in his possession, including iPads stolen from the Primrose of Cinco Ranch preschool.
Stone is being held in the Harris County Jail on a $40,000 bond.
