Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops
November 7-Christmas Eve
Advance Reservation Required
Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops (including the Katy Mills Mall location) is already welcoming visitors this holiday season. However, some changes have been implemented for guests to safely enjoy this favorite Katy tradition.
Families must make a free reservation in advance of visiting with Santa in this “Contactless Claus” experience.
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s are taking new measures to host this holiday experience this year. In addition to requiring reservations the following measures are being taken:
An acrylic Magic Santa Shield barrier is in place between Santa and families at all times.
Families and team members will have their temperatures screened prior to entering.
All surfaces are cleaned and sanitized between each visit.
All team members are wearing face coverings.
Customers are required to wear face coverings as it is required in local businesses. The store continues to monitor local guidelines.
Families standby in a designated area away from shoppers to ensure social distancing.

City of Katy 2020 Santa Tour
Touring Katy area November 30-December 16
The Katy Fire Department recently got Santa’s sleigh restored ahead of his annual visit to Katy neighborhoods. Katy neighborhoods on the tour are listed below. Follow the Katy Fire Department’s Facebook page daily once it starts for maps and updates.
Santa's sleigh will be followed by helper Elves in a marked Katy Fire Department truck stopping to collect donations of non-perishable canned goods to deliver to the local Katy Food Pantry and unwrapped toys for the Lions Club and Toys-for-Tots Programs.
Due to COVID-19, the Katy Fire Department asks that you place your donations on the back of the truck yourself and practice social distancing when waiting to see Santa on your street.
Each night of the tour, Santa will leave the “North Pole” at 6:30 p.m. Families can listen for his “sleigh bells” as he enters the street.
