Katy is a place for animal lovers and dogs and their people can enjoy Paws Fest this Saturday at LaCenterra. The first event of its kind for Katy will deliver entertainment, vendors, and more.
UPDATE: This event has been rescheduled until October 30.
Costume Contests, Dog Competitions, And More!
From costume contests to high-flying pups and more, Paws Fest at LaCenterra promises a “pawesome” event for Katyites.
Paws Fest presented by Circle B Veterinary Hospital is this Saturday, October 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event is free, except for the Pup Crawl.
Paws Fest will include interactive dog vendor booths, entertainment, costume contests, dog training demos, and live music from Cooper Wade.
High-flying Pups
Dock Dogs will be hosting the only “National Sportsmen’s Series” competition. The schedule to watch and cheer these talented dogs on is below.
Big Air Wave- 10:30 a.m.
Big Air Wave #2- 12:30 p.m.
Speed Retrieve- 2:30 p.m.
Big Air Finals- 4:00 p.m.
Awards and Competition Winners- 5:00 p.m.
Forget a typical pub crawl and enjoy Katy’s first Pup Crawl. Tickets ($10) must be purchased in advance online. Ticket holders meet at World of Beer at 11:30 a.m. and those who complete the entire crawl by 3:00 p.m. get a free t-shirt.

Don't Miss the Costume Contest
Katy dogs can compete in a local costume contest at Central Green at 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Sit Means Sit will host an obedience demonstration also at Central Green at 3:00 p.m.
Katy’s Cooper Wade will bring live music starting a noon.
