The Historic Katy Town Square will be the set for a large event this Saturday night where the city will embrace its champion heritage. Families can enjoy food trucks, live music, rock climbing, an obstacle course, and more. The evening will conclude with a drone show by SKYWONDER.
All of Katy is Welcome
The Katy Tiger band, cheerleaders and dance team will also perform, and Katy High School athletes will be introduced. While performances are from Katy High School, this event is about celebrating the city of Katy as a whole and all our welcome. For 125 years Katy has had Tiger Pride and this champion spirit is contagious.
“Katy welcomes everyone with open arms, embracing each individual as a champion,” says Kaci Maris, Tourism and Marketing Events Coordinator at City of Katy. “Join us in celebrating community, inclusivity, and the essence of ‘your hometown.’”
The Katy High School football team is known across the state and has won a total of 9 State Championships. The Katy High School softball team have also earned that state championship title.
Katy Tiger Football Coach Gary Joseph will be there signing Texas Football Magazine, where he is on the cover.
While the reputation of champions may have started with Katy High School, Katy ISD schools continue to bring titles home. Seven Lakes High School is now known for their championship men’s soccer team.
“This is all about being proud of where you come from,” says Maris.

I’ve been exploring different online gaming platforms recently, and when I came across lucky star casino, it really caught my attention. The site is organized well, and I was able to jump right into the games without any hassle. lucky star casino offers plenty of bonuses that make the whole experience feel more rewarding. I love that it doesn’t feel like you’re just throwing money away; you actually get to enjoy the games and have some wins along the way. It’s a nice change from some of the other sites I’ve tried, and I’ve already recommended it to a couple of friends.
