Tickets are Going Fast
Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 6:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. the Katy Heritage Society will host their annual Christmas in the Park. Katy families can enjoy the season with fun activities among beautiful historical homes significant to Katy’s history. The event is held at the historic Katy Heritage Park (5990 George Bush Drive.)
This is a ticketed event in order to keep the event smaller and special to those who attend. Tickets can be purchased onlinefor $12.
“The Christmas at the Park event is a cherished tradition for our community, and it truly captures the magic of the season in a way that is both nostalgic and heartwarming,” says Adrienne Davitz, Katy Heritage Society president.
Here’s some of the exciting event features that families can expect this year:
Take pictures by the 1960 Freeman Farm Truck courtesy of The Dryer.
Live performance by the Lone Star Symphonic Band on the historic bandstand.
Tour 13 Christmas Trees decorated by local businesses.
Write a letter to Santa in the historic post office hosted by KTX Window Cleaning
Warm up with a cup of hot cocoa by Humble Grounds
Christmas Carolers in full Dickens attire.
Vintage Christmas crafts.
Scavenger hunt
Meet Santa Clause
“As we gather at Katy Heritage Park, surrounded by the charm of our town’s history, we are reminded of simpler times—a time when the holidays were about quiet moments, shared memories, and the joy of being together,” says Davitz.
Another exciting event in a hayride through historic downtown Katy. Book your hayride online in advance. All hayrides will stop at Southern Dough Baking Co. Enjoy a ride around Downtown Katy to see all the Christmas lights. Hayride tickets are $10 each.
Again, Christmas in the Park is a ticketed event. Tickets must be purchased in advanced online.
