Katy’s Central Green Park celebrates 8 years of providing the Katy community with a space for programing and the chance to gather as a community. Celebrate tonight with live music and a celebration of the culture of Nigeria. Enjoy a free event fun for the whole family (weather permitting.)
Birthday Bash Happening Tonight
Tonight, Saturday August 7, 2021, Katy’s Central Green Park will come alive with live music from Nigeria as the park celebrates culture and community for its 8th Birthday Bash.
Free Birthday Bash
The event is from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Central Green Park (23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd.) and is free to all.
For 8 years, Central Green Park has served the Katy community as Willow Fork Drainage District’s signature public space. The park is located within LaCenterra and opened in June 2013.
From special events to community gatherings, the Central Green park brings people together across its open lawn area with access to free parking, shopping and dining at LaCenterra.
Events include yoga, live music, tai chi, Spanish classes, and upcoming events like the upcoming back to school Glow Party and more.
Lee Greenwood to Perform Free Concert
On August 27, 2021 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Katy residents can enjoy a live concert with Lee Greenwood. This patriotic iconic event is made possible by Cinco M.U.D. and Willow Fork Drainage District.
The event is free but it is requested that those who attend bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Katy Christian Ministries Food Pantry.
