Summer is in full force and Katy's Central Green Park in LaCenterra offers free, fun entertainment all season long. The popular family hangout offers live music, movies, and more to enjoy this summer.

Free Katy Family Fun
The Willow Fork Drainage District’s Central Green Park (located in LaCenterra, 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd.) has free events from live music, movies, and events planned to entertain Katy all summer ling.
The Molly Ringwalds, an 80's Band, Performs Tonight
There is a free concert tonight, June 3, 2022 from 7:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. The Molly Ringwalds are a crowd favorite and put on an electric show fitting for the big 80’s music that they play. Music videos from the 80’s make a fun and entertaining background adding to the show. This will be a visual and fun show for all.
Movies in the Park
Saturday, June 4, 2022, families can enjoy a movie in the park at dusk. These frequent events are fun for Katy families This weekend families can enjoy the film “Clifford the Big Red Dog.” Guests are invited to bring snacks, chairs and blankets. Be sure to follow Central Green Park on Facebook for upcoming movie nights.

More concerts are scheduled throughout the summer. All concerts are 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on The Central Green Park stage.
June 10th- Night Bird, a Fleetwood Mac Tribute
June 17th- Ragland, country music
June 24th- Jazz
June 25th- Blood Red Sky, U2 Tribute
July 9th- Dream Walker, funk and soul
July 16th- Fantastics, rock and latin
July 22nd- Hayden Baker, a Katy High School graduate and country artist
July 30th- Hip Hop
Back to School Bash
The park will host their annual Back to School Bash on August 6, 2022 6:00 p.m.- 9:30 p.m. The 2nd Baptist teen band, Katy Marimba will be the opening act before 35 Drive takes the stage. The rain date for this event is August 13.
Katy families can enjoy stilt walkers, mascots, games, face paint, and more.
Central Green Park also offers yoga, tai chi, story time, and more. It opened in June 2013 and is Willow Fork Drainage District’s signature public plaza space, providing a multi-purpose venue for special events and community gatherings.
