For 75 years now, the Katy ISD FFA Livestock Show has provided opportunities for students to develop and showcase their talents in a diverse range of agricultural pathways. After a yearlong of hard work, students will now showcase their projects to the public and compete for prestigious recognitions and scholarships. Because of the Katy ISD FFA program many students become our next biologists, veterinarians, engineers and will enter a number of other industry professions.

“Our district’s FFA program requires great commitment and passion from not just our students but also our teachers, parents and community,” says Superintendent Lance Hindt. “Together they are the backbone of the rich history and heritage of FFA in Katy. It’s because of them that the Livestock Show is such a tremendous success every year,” adds Hindt.
