The National Charity League is a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences. These members have logged thousands of volunteer hours assisting a wide variety of organizations from hospitals and underprivileged children to nursing homes and cancer survivors. There are currently four NCL chapters in Katy. Lady Bird Chapter, Star Chapter, Katy Chapter, and Azalea Chapter.

NCL Azalea proudly presents our senior class of 2023. These young ladies, along with their mothers, have completed almost 5,000 hours of philanthropy for the Katy community! Best of luck to you all, we know you are going to do great things!

The Lady Bird Chapter recognized these 13 wonderful young ladies for their accomplishments achieved over the last six years in NCL, Inc. In that time, these young ladies, along with their mothers, have volunteered more than 3,899 hours of philanthropic service to their community! They have served in a variety of leadership positions, along with planning events, and attending various cultural events. Additionally, they have made lasting relationships and memories within their community, organization, and mostly with their mothers. The Lady Bird Chapter’s total philanthropy hours in 2022 surpassed 7,719 hours in community service. National Charity League, Inc (NCL, Inc.) is a national nonprofit mother-daughter service organization.
The National Charity League, Inc. Lady Bird chapter was formed in 2010 and is centered on serving others in need with a special emphasis on charities involving children such as: American Cancer Society, Ballard House, Habitat for Humanity and many others. Visit ladybird.nationalcharityleague.org.

The National Charity League (NCL) Katy Chapter Class of 2023 hosted its Senior Recognition event at the Marriott Sugarland on Saturday, January 8, 2023. The event took place in the Grand Ballroom, with the Recognition presentation followed by dinner and dancing.

“The Class of 2023 has completed a six-year program designed to foster the mother-daughter relationship through active community service and instill a sense of compassion and drive to serve those in need within our community,” says Jackie Lanier, NCL, Inc., Star Chapter President.
They have contributed over 3,500 volunteer hours at 35 local charities, including The Westview School, Neighborhood KidZ Club, Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP), Interfaith Ministries (Meals on Wheels), The Ballard House, Katy Christian Ministries (KCM), Fort Bend Women's Center, The Krause Center, The Monty Ballard YMCA, Brookwood, Willow River Farms, and Texas Children’s Hospital.
