Katy Murder Suspect on the Run

Local authorities seek the public’s help in locating a man suspected of a Katy murder. Deputies found foul play when called to a home in a neighborhood off of Stockdick School Road near Katy Hockley Cut Off Road. UPDATE: Suspect is in custody. This is a developing story.

Possible Homicide Discovered Last Week

UPDATE: Suspect is in custody. This is a developing story.

Local law enforcement are investigating a possible homicide that occurred at the 2500 block of Wells Station Court in Katy. Precinct 5 deputies responded to calls of a possible homicide on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.



When they arrived to the home, that is in a neighborhood off of Stockdick School Road near Katy Hockley Cut Off Road, they discovered foul play.

 

Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Crime Scene are investigating the crime and believe that a body had been moved and “dumped” at another location. Their investigation led them to the 1000 block of Old Hwy 90, W. Vidor, Texas. There investigators found the deceased body of Kelvin Hinton, 53.

 



Public Asked For Information

Investigators have identified Michael Maurice Mack (6-24-76) as the sole suspect in this case. Once found, he will be issued a Capital Murder warrant for his arrest.
