A man was shot last night on Katy off of I-10 near 99. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Shots Fired Last Night on Katy Freeway
Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies are describing the victim as being a Katy man who was shot and killed last night.
This is a Developing Story
The incident happened at the 23600 block of Katy Freeway a little before 10:00 p.m. The man was transported to a nearby hospital via Life Flight helicopter. He was pronounced dead at arrival.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez informed the public of the incident via social media. He said that the west bound feeder was shut down as deputies investigated the crime. This is still a developing story.
There has been no update as to what happened or who the shooter was. No one has been arrested or charged at the time of this publishing.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office has not released the name of the victim other than confirming that he was a Katy man.
