A Katy ISD School Bus and Metro City Bus crashed this morning off of Kingsland Bouvard. One adult has been life flighted in critical condition and two students were sent via ambulance to a local hospital.
Details are emerging in a Katy ISD school bus accident that occurred this morning around 7:00 a.m. at Kingsland Boulevard and Pickford. The accident involved a Metro City Bus.
One Adult Life Flighted
At least one adult was life flighted to a hospital. 2 Students were sent via ambulance to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Katy ISD spokesperson and manager of media relations and multimedia Maria Corrales DiPetta confirmed that the additional students on the bus were picked up by a Katy ISD bus and transferred to a nearby school. From there they will be assessed and meet up with their parents, who were notified of the accident.
This is an ongoing investigation and developing story.
