Adults over 18 can pick from numerous studies like business, dance, or more in Katy ISD’s Community Education. For the first time, the District is offering virtual classes to make learning even more accessible anywhere, anytime.

Pick a New Challenge, Hobby
Katy residents can take on new challengs or pick a new hobby this fall. Registration is now open for Katy ISD’s Community Education classes. These classes offer a wide range of opportunities for personal growth and enrichment.
"Our goal is to offer learning experiences that meet a variety of interests and schedules,” says Nick Petito, Director of Internal & Community Relations. “With the introduction of our virtual offerings, participating and growing has never been more accessible."
For the first time, all classes will be offered virtually. This new format provides greater flexibility and convenience, allowing students to join from anywhere.
Classes start on September 9, 2024. Enrollment is open to adults 18 and older.
With the new option of online learning the District hopes that more can participate in this learning opportunity.
Community Education class subjects include classes in the following areas:
Arts
Business
Computer Skills Crafts
Culinary
Finance
Health and Wellness
Language
Personal Safety
Recreation
Self-Improvement Workshops
Continued Education Benefits Career Development
Whether it's staying up on the latest computer skills, learning a new language, or simply having fun in an art class; continued education in adults has been proven to be beneficial.

Katy ISD’s Community Education Classes include options such as multi-week classes in drawing, dance, health and wellness, and culinary arts that help participants build new skills.
Students can also find single-night courses focused on specific interests, such as business and finance, and retirement and long-term planning. Most classes offer certificates of completion.
