Church of the Holy Apostles

Provided baby goods, clothing, and bedding.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

Provided demo, clean up and clean out services for homes bringing in volunteers from all over the country

Church of the King

Provided demo, clean up and clean out services for homes in Katy.

Church of Christ

Delivered delicious lunches and meals to flooded out neighborhoods residents, workers, and volunteers.

Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church

They provided free childcare to flood victims and volunteers on September 4-7.

Cinco Ranch Church of Christ

Pastor, Bo Pugh and many members kept busy helping the neighborhoods in the flooded homes near Creech and Beck. They worked tirelessly gutting the affected homes, delivering food and water daily. They also set up tents near the entrance of their flooded church, offering free cleaning supplies, snacks, water, hugs, and advice. Their goal is to continue the work within a mile radius from their church, until the work is complete.

Shoutout: CrossPoint Katy

Set up a major distribution center in Katy and provided food, supplies, clothing (from Clothed by Faith) and also baby needs.

Current Church

Provided demo services, house clean-up and clean-out services. Also provided food, clothes and water and delivered to families.

The Fellowship

Became an emergency shelter and major distribution center that provided food, clothing, diapers, baby needs, portable cribs. Also connected evacuees with volunteers to host them. Provided bedding, pillows laundry detergent new underwear and cleaning supplies. Helped over 1200 families.

First Christian Church Katy

Provided cleaning supplies, toiletries, snack packs.

First United Methodist Church Katy

Provided llaundry services and meals for first responders, and gift cards/groceries for familes.

Currently accepting monetary donations on website for Harvey victims

Grace Fellowship United Methodist

Mucked out homes all over impacted areas and became drivers for evacuees at shelters transporting them to their next destinations. Also hosted and fed the National Guard.

Holy Covenant United Methodist Church

Set up a distribution center for flood victims and provided food, water, baby items, cleaning supplies, safety supplies, pet supplies, hygiene items, and more.

Katy Community Fellowship

Provided distributions for impacted families.

Kingsland Baptist Church

Mucked out and helped with clean up and set up disaster relief funds to help impacted victims. Hosted Texas Baptist Men mucking crews and the Red Cross. Launched the Katy Disaster Response uniting all resources, and continuously serving of the community.

Life Church

Provided food, clothes, and supplies to area families.

Living Stones Church

Provided muck out and clean up crews for many Katy area homes.

Memorial Lutheran Church

Helped clean and pack up Katy area homes.

Parkway Fellowship

Provided clothes, food, work and mucking supplies to the area.

Pentecostals of Katy

Provided clothing, food, baby supplies, needs for flooded homes, and more.

Powerhouse Church

Was the first church in Katy to set up an emergency shelter. Distributed food, supplies, clothing, and sent cleaning crews to help with homes.

Second Baptist Church

Helped hundreds of people out of homes and apartments, provided military sleeping quarters, gave food, clothes, cleaning supplies, and hot meals. Mucked out over 425 homes.

St. Peter’s United Methodist Church

Many teams mucked and gutted homes all around our area and are continuing to do so. They were a distribution center for cleaning supplies, food, clothing, bedding, diapers, and personal items along with teams to deliver items. They offered a large room full of children’s books and toys to keep the young ones busy. They also donated many boxes of children’s books to Creech Elementary since their Library was ruined. Also they held several potluck dinners for those displaced, church members, and neighbors

The Waters Church

Provided food,cleaning supplies, personal hygiene Items and Baby Items: Formula, food, diapers, wipes. Set up a free food pantry.
