Katy Gas Station Robbed, Witness Reports Suspect Armed

The Timewise convenience store with Shell gas station at Spring Green and Falcon Landing boulevards, near Tompkins High School, was robbed Sunday evening. The suspect held the employee at gunpoint.

Timewise Robbed

Deputies with Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office (FBCSO) are investigating an aggravated robbery that happened Sunday, November 17 at the Timewise store with Shell gas station located at Spring Green and Falcon Landing boulevards. A masked man, wielding a gun, robbed the convenience store around 8:00 pm.

Customer Called 911 Major Chad Norvell with FBCSO says that a customer getting gas called 911 at 8:03 pm. He informed authorities that a man wearing a mask and holding a gun went inside the Timewise.

According to FBCSO, surveillance footage showed the suspect threaten the clerk with a gun and demanded cash from the register.

The clerk was not injured. The suspect is believed to be a White or Hispanic male between 5.8-5.10. The video shows him wearing a black shirt with jeans, a gray hoodie, and covering his face with a camouflaged bandana. He left in a black or dark colored vehicle.

"Help catch this suspect," said Sheriff Troy Nehls. "Earn some money for yourself the right way."

Company Acted Quickly to Keep Employees Safe

Timewise acted quickly by notifying nearby employees about the incident.

"It was scary getting that information," says an employee at a nearby Katy Timewise location, "but I felt better knowing so I could be careful." He got a call from his manager about 10 minutes after the incident at the Spring Green store.
