Katy families have many options for worshipping this Christmas season. Some area churches are hosting traditional in-person events, while others have added drive-in, outdoor, and candlelight services, as well as live-streaming.
Reservations for in-person Christmas services are highly recommended, and times are filling up fast. To accommodate overflow, or families concerned about social distancing, live-streaming options are being offered by many churches.
Check the guide below for times of services and links to register for in-person seating and live-streaming.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Services
4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
All ages are welcome to attend either service; childcare will not be provided.
1225 West Grand Parkway South
Christmas Eve
3 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10:30 p.m.
3 p.m. service: Families are invited to join the service especially planned for young children and families. This will be an outdoor service. There will be communion as well as an interactive retelling of the Christmas story from the Gospel of Luke. And this year, they will also have a live nativity with donkeys, goats, and a camel! 5 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. services: These more traditional services will be held indoors, with carols, a Christmas sermon, and communion.

They will be offering a concurrent outdoor live-streamed drive-in service in the GLPC parking lot during the 6:30 p.m. service for any who wish to come to the church to worship, but who are not yet comfortable attending inside.

After registering for in-person worship on the Kingsland Campus, you will have the option to register children 0-2 years old for the nursery. All services will be offered in-person and will continue to be live-streamed on YouTube and Facebook for those who choose to worship at home.

For those who wish to attend our Candlelight Service but would like to keep an extra distance, they will have rooms available for social distancing. A “Wiggle Room” & “Cry Room” will also be available for little ones with parental supervision.
