Local breweries, distilleries, and wineries have become hangouts that Katy families love. As life gets ready to slow down a bit this summer, get ready to enjoy these local favorite spots!

Brews and Games
Katy families enjoy small-batch brews, sodas, coffee and food while choosing from over 500 games. Battlehops has everything from childhood favorite boardgames to challenging strategy games.
Katy kids can enjoy some new games this summer and parents can try some new drinks. Check their Facebook page for game playing announcements.

New Location Coming Soon
Last month the veteran owned, and operated winery closed their location at Katy Hockley Road. They plan to open a new Katy location but until then offer in-home wine tasting perfect for Katy parties and events. Their fruit wine can also be bought online.

MKT Distillery
Katy History and Fun
Nestled in the heart of Old Katy, MKT Distillery is committed to the community and is both kid and pet friendly. They only serve locally produced spirits.
“We invite everyone to bring the whole family and enjoy our bounce house, jumbo connect fours, cornholes, and other family friendly entertainment,” says co-owner Niki Jesset. “MKT is also a great spot to pre or post game for a date!
Always check Facebook for upcoming events. They host a Veteran’s Event the 2nd Friday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. They also host a monthly Hernandez Paint Nights and are known for their annual Tree Lights the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
“I love MKT Distillery because they have embraced Katy history and culture and make you always feel at home,” says Adrienne Davitz.

Award-Winning Brews, Live Music
Enjoy the award-winning brewery team at No Label Brewing Company also in Downtown Katy. There’s a play area for kids and always something fun going on from food trucks to live music.
Each Thursday at 7:00 p.m. participants can enjoy a game of Bingo. The Monday Run Club us popular as well. There is live music every Saturday.

Toddy Oaks
Spend Time with Family, Friends Under a History Katy Tree
“Toddy Oaks is a family ran venue, everyone is so welcoming and we always go above and beyond to make sure our guests are provided with quality service,” says Yessica Ortiz. “Our outdoor venue is a great place to spend some time with the family, we put out games for our guests to enjoy, we have a beautiful oak tree that provides shade on sunny days.”
Just in time for Summer, Toddy Oaks passes out complimentary cool towels to guests during concerts and events to help beat the Katy heat.
Toddy Oaks has family time on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. where they offer free soft serve ice cream for the kids, food and drinks! Kids are welcome on evening up until 6:00 p.m.
They are the only brewery, winery, and distillery all in one location in Katy. Upcoming events include Open Mic Nights every Thursdays and a Texas Eagles Tribute Band and Rolling Stones Tribute Band both in June. Visit their website for tickets and more information.
