Indoor Sliding Park Joins List of Growing Katy Entertainment

Katy families can soon enjoy indoor slides without water and air courts at a new entertainment venue. Slick City Action Park will open their first Texas location at Katy Mills Mall.

Katy's Growth Attracts Entertainment Venues

Katy continues to grow and with it comes new businesses and residential communities perfect for Katy families.

Slick City Action Park will open their first Texas location this fall at Katy Mills Mall. The indoor slide and air court park will be located between entrances 7 and 8.

“Slick City Action Park is the latest entertainment venue making their home in Katy,” says Chris Harris, City of Katy Councilmember and Mayor Pro Tem. “The venue will add to the Katy Mills Malls and Boardwalk District as a destination for locals and visitors alike, Welcome to Katy!”

Slick City Action Park currently has locations in Denver, Colorado and St. Louis, Missouri.

According to the entertainment venue, they were the world’s first indoor slide (with no water.) Slick City Action Park also has air courts. Everything is geared for all ages.

Slick City Action Park will be a great place for birthday parties and celebrations. The business stated in a press release that they “aim to awaken the senses and offer gripping, memorable experiences.”

Slick City Action Park joins Dig World and Typhoon Texas as a new theme park at or close to Katy Mills Mall.

PopStroke Opened Last Month

Not at the mall, but also new to Katy is PopStroke at 23110 Grand Circle Boulevard. PopStroke is a two 18-hole putting course designed by Tiger Woods that is another Katy entertainment venue that includes food and fun. It opened last month.

Katy continues to grow with new businesses and residential communities. According to a real estate trend website Opendoor, The Katy area zip code 77494 was ranked the number 3 neighborhood in the U.S. out of a list of 10.
