50% Attendance
The University Interscholastic League (UIL) has issued strict guidelines for high school sporting events to follow. As a result, the stands can only be filled to half capacity.
Katy ISD Athletics says student seating will be based on the 50% capacity order from state officials and they will block off every other row and require that face coverings be worn.
Parents/Students Get Priority
Head Coaches and Fine Art Directors will be provided a link to share with parents of participants to purchase online pre-sale tickets Monday through Tuesday prior to Katy ISD football games.
Parents will be allowed to purchase four tickets for games at Legacy Stadium and three tickets for Rhodes Stadium games. Once tickets open to the public, there is no limit on ticket purchases.
Campus Administration will be provided a separate pre-sale ticket link to share with students. The link will be live on Monday morning. Tickets sold from this link will be for designated student sections only.
Advance student tickets are $4 and adult tickets are $6, plus a 10% online convenience fee, not to exceed $6.
A public link will become available on Wednesday at 9 a.m. through Katy ISD Athletics for the general public to purchase tickets. Ticket prices will be $5 (students) and $10 (adults) plus a 10% online convenience fee, not to exceed $6.
Katy ISD will sell 40% of the allotted tickets in advance and allow the remaining 10% for pass holders at the gate.
Livestream Option
If tickets sell out or attending games is not an option, Texan Live will be streaming all Katy ISD varsity football games. A subscription is available to catch the games.
“Football time, 2020 is very different, but for Katy football fans worldwide, there is nothing like cheering on the hometown team,” says Katy Tigers fan Chris Harris. “Even in 2020, there is something special when football season is here.”
