Help Identify Burglar Caught on Camera

Authorities are seeking the public's help in catching a burglar that camera's caught rummaging through the victims car in a Bear Creek neighborhood. This serves as another great reminder of the importance of locking your car doors.

On Halloween night at 3:30 a.m. the suspect was caught on camera at the 15800 block of Stanhope Court in Bear Creek going house to house checking car doors and then entering the vehicle of the victim. The suspect is a black male with close-cropped hair wearing a light gray or white hoodie sweatshirt, black shorts and black sneakers. He appears to be carrying a pillowcase.

 

UPDATE: SUSPECT CAUGHT

Aaron Threats, the Bear Creek burglar, is currently locked up in the Harris County jail.

Deputies from Constable Ted Heap's office have charged Threats, 19, with burglary of a motor vehicle in the 15800 block of Stanhope Court. Threats is facing multiple felony charges from other cases unrelated to this burglary. Additional charges may follow too.

 

Tips to Safeguard Your Car and Belongings

Lock your doors and set your alarm- Make sure your alarm is turned on especially overnight.

Don't leave valuables in your car- Don't give them a reason to want to enter your car. It's also smart to not leave clutter in your car as someone could think valuables could be among it.
