Winter Break 2019 has started, and Katy’s local libraries offer great free, fun activities for kids and adults.

Hour of Code: Star Wars-Building a Galaxy with Code
7 - 8 p.m.
4th– 8th grades
Learn to program droids and create your own Star Wars game using Blocks and JavaScript. Cannot accommodate daycares or large groups.

Family Afternoon Movie-Detective Pikachu
1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Released in 2019, this family-friendly movie stars Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu, the iconic face of the global Pokémon phenomenon. This movie is rated PG. This program is limited to 150 participants. Cannot accommodate daycares or large groups.

Crafts and Noon New Year’s Toast!
11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Children and families can come and toast the New Year at the other 12 o'clock (noon)! A cookie and juice toast will be accompanied by crafts in this New Year's celebration. This program is limited to 150 participants. Cannot accommodate daycares or school groups.
