Early voting opens today for all Katy area counties. Here’s what you need to know to cast your ballot early.
Katy, Texas has three counties so sometimes knowing where to vote isn’t always easy. You have voting options whether you reside in Harris, Fort Bend, or Waller Counties.
Today, October 21, 2024 and through November 1, 2024 is early voting. Most local polls open at 7:00 a.m. this morning and this is a great way to cast your vote ahead of Election Day. During early voting, residents can go to any polling site within their county. On Election Day, November 5, 2024 residents must go to their assigned polling location and expect larger crowds.
Before heading to the polls, Katy residents must ensure that they have approved identification such as a valid driver’s license, passport, or voter’s registration card.
Please keep in mind that voters are not allowed to have out their cell phones within the polling sites or wear any election materials on them while voting.
