Summer vacation has just begun, and many local camps are adjusting their services by offering special drop-off or one-day options. These convenient camps give parents the opportunities to run errands, take siblings to appointments or just take a break.

COVID-19 Results in Strict Guidelines to Ensure Safety

Concerns for COVID-19 and its spread continue to impact our community, especially summer camps. Some businesses and groups have canceled camps altogether. Others are changing to a virtual format or restricting numbers in order to follow strict guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety.


Local Drop-Off Camps Available

With camp options being more limited this summer, many parents are struggling to plan appointments and errands. Some businesses are offering drop-off camps for a few hours for a single day to provide parents that freedom, while giving the kids a change of scenery and

Price: $135 - 3-days-a-week

$195 - week

Drop-in rate: $10 an hour (as space permits)


Extended hours available: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

KGSP offers a fun environment for campers to explore sports, gymnastics, obstacle courses, games, skits, crafts, water activities, educational experiments, foam pit, trampolines, movies and more. They also offer special needs gymnastics classes and host kids birthday parties.

At Pinot's Palette's Little Brushes Camp, young artists enjoy a fun-filled party atmosphere as they create their own masterpieces. From painting to crafting and everything in between Little Brushes fosters a friendly and collaborative environment and provides everything little artists need to bring out their creative spirit. Little Brushes camps are led by professional artists who specialize in children's art education.

Price: $25 per camp/per child

Campers at Adrenaline will participate in camps with fun themes like Unicorn Sparkle Camp, Jojo Siwa Dance Camp, Mermaid Camp, Super Hero Camp, Frozen Camp, Nerf Camp, Toy Story Gymnastics Camp, and many more! Camps offer crafts, gymnastics, games, obstacles, snack, and more.

$9.50 per hour for first child over 18 months

$5.50 per hour for each additional sibling

Registration is highly recommended to ensure there is space.

At Adventure Kids, little ones can participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities like painting, story time, and much more. Parents can purchase healthy meals, or provide their own if their children are there during mealtimes.

At Primrose Schools Summer Adventure Club, children explore being engineers, artists, and more as they discover the joys of design thinking, a fun and innovative way to learn. Campers also enjoy experiments and themed activities to unlock new ways of thinking, while having fun.
