Designer Handbags Raise Funds for Katy Families in Need

November is the Season of Giving and Katy has many wonderful non-profits that serve our community’s needs. Clothed by Faith, a Katy based non-profit kicks off the season this week by hosting their annual Designer Bag Bash. See how you can help the community and enter for a chance to win great bags like a Louis Vuitton!

Clothed By Faith Hosts Designer Bag Bash

Katy based non-profit Clothed by Faith will host a virtual Designer Bag Bash this Friday, November 5. The event is a fun way for the charity to raise funds for the over 63,000 clients that they serve.

10 designer handbags will be up to win via the event’s raffle this Friday. Bags include Michael Kors, Rebecca Minkoff, Consuela, Coach, Kate Spade New York, Tory Burch, and Louis Vuitton.

$30 gets participants 2 raffle tickets. The raffle for the grand prize of a Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag is $20.

You can also purchase additional tickets for $5 per entry.

Clothed by Faith was founded in 2013 by Abi Morton.

"After some research, it was a shock to discover just how big an issue poverty is right here on my own doorstep," says Abi Morton.

According to the Clothed by Faith website, 1 in 4 children in Harris County live below the federal poverty line. That is over 300,000 children in need.

Clothed by Faith currently serves over 63,000 clients. They operate 95% on volunteers and accept donations. The cost of a week’s worth of clothing is $25.
