Christmas Day Fire in Katy Destroys Cinco Ranch Family's Home

A Katy family's home was destroyed by a fire late last night. Crews from multiple area fire departments responded to the house fire at Steep Forest Circle in the Cinco Ranch West subdivision. The family was home at the time, and no-one sustained injuries.

The Fort Bend County Fire Marshall's Office reported that multiple agencies responded to a devastating house fire last night in Cinco Ranch. The family was able to escape their Steep Forest Circle home without injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.


Donations Being Collected for Family

Friends of the family have organized a gift card collection. Donations can be dropped off at Stanley Elementary located at 26633 Cinco Terrace Dr. in Katy, from 11 a.m. – noon and 5 – 6 p.m. today, Thursday, December 26.


Hours for tomorrow’s collections will be posted on the Stanley PTA Facebook page.


Examples of gift cards the family may need: Walmart, Target, grocery stores or local restaurants.
