In addition to Harris County ESD 48; Westlake Volunteer Fire Department, Cy-Fair Fire Department, Community Volunteer Fire Department, Katy Fire Department, Willowfork Fire Department/Fort Bend County ESD 2, and Fulshear-Simonton Fire Department.

Neighbors commented on the Harris County ESD Facebook page thanking them for the quick actions to prevent the fire from spreading. While the cause of this fire is still under investigation, it is not believed to have started because of the dry conditions.
