Fifty-one Katy ISD student-athletes formally committed to their college or university of choice. Each athlete was honored for their countless hours of practice and hard work in a memorable celebration.

Students Sign Letters Before Thanksgiving Break
Before heading off to Thanksgiving break, 51 Katy ISD student-athletes signed commitments to their college or university. They were honored for their countless hours of practice, sweat and dedication in a memorable ceremony where they signed a binding letter of intent.
“Katy ISD Athletics prides itself on not just building award-winning programs at the high school level, but also on preparing our student-athletes for success at the next level,” said Lance Carter, Executive Director of Athletics in Katy ISD. “These students have been prepared academically and athletically to excel and we wish them the very best.”
National Signing Day was November 13, 2024 when Katy ISD announced that 51 student-athletes signed letters of intent to play at the next level. These talented athletes represent a variety of sports and will play in collegiate programs across the nation.
