On Wednesday at 2:40 a.m., the Circle K gas station near S. Firethorne Road was robbed at gunpoint. According to Chad Norvell, of the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, two or three black males brandished a handgun, robbed the store, and left the scene in a silver four door vehicle. The robbers turned left onto 1463.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information concerning an Aggravated Robbery in the Katy area.
A black male suspect entered the store, made a small purchase, and walked out. A few minutes later, two black male suspects entered the store, one wearing a blue hoodie and the other wearing a black hoodie.
One of the males produced a handgun and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspects left the location in a tan or silver-colored Nissan 4-door sedan.
There are two, possibly three black male suspects.
“Help us catch these men and also earn some money for yourself the right way,” said Sheriff Troy Nehls. “We need to put these guys behind bars.”
The Circle K Corner Store is open 24 hours a day and is located at 2617 FM 1463 near Firethorne Rd.
"I feel the area is very safe, but residents should always be alert to suspicious activity," says Norvell. "They should call in anything that seems out of the ordinary." If you have any information about this robbery, please contact the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office at 281-341-4665.
