A national poll ranked the Tompkins girls soccer team as the number one girls high school soccer team in the United States.

Highest Ranked Soccer Team
According to TopDrawerSoccer’s Fab 50 list, Tompkins is the highest ranked girls soccer team out of the nation’s top 50 high school girls soccer programs.
The team landed the number one spot after Texas A&M commit Barbara Oliveri had a goal and two assists to lead Tompkins to a 4-1 win over Seven Lakes.
Undefeated Falcons
So far, this has been a great year for the Lady Falcons. They currently remain undefeated and won the I-10 Bracket Championship with an impressive 4-0 victory against McAllen back in January.
The team hopes to return to the State Championship later this spring.
"If we do what we're supposed to every game, it'll work out, and we'll get to the point where we wanna be," says Tompkins head coach Jarrett Shipman.
The team has had two long playoff runs and finished as state runners-up in 2017.
