Local group collects homecoming gowns for impacted Katy students
Two local groups of volunteers have collected a large assortment of homecoming dresses and shoes to help local girls whose homes were impacted. Both groups are hosting FREE pop-up shops where students can come in and try on gowns and choose a clothes for homecoming.
FIRST LOCATION
10AM to 5PM TODAY
Local volunteers collected dresses and shoes for Katy girls to use for homecoming. They are hosting their Free Pop Up Shop until 5 PM today. The volunteers wish to thank McKaskle Family Dentistry for allowing them to use their building for this event.
SECOND LOCATION - TEEN GIRL AND TEEN BOY ITEMS

Memorial Parkway teachers collected 400 dresses, plus shoes and even mens suits, ties, and accessories. They are distributing dresses today for students who have been impacted. If you'd like to donate, please drop off before 2 PM today to have your donation ready for the teens.
MONDAY & WEDNESDAY:
There will also be time for shopping on Monday & Wednesday from 6-8 at Taylor High School's Competition gym. This group is joining forces with THS student Reagan Celeya who's been collecting donated dresses since last Sunday.
