A 17-year-old boy was shot in the face during an argument in the Westheimer Lakes subdivision. The victim knows the suspects and is cooperating with authorities.
Shot Fired During Argument, Victim Will Recover
Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies and Sheriff Troy Nehls rushed to the scene last night after a 17-year-old boy was shot in the face at the 6300 block of Grayson Bend in the Westheimer Lakes subdivision. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
Authorities say that the victim knows the suspects and that the shooting happened during an argument around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
Investigators Canvasing the Scene, Share Vehicle Description
Shortly after the deputies arrived at the scene, they investigated security cameras, looked in trash cans, and searched the ground for shell casings. The authorities are looking for two males and two females in a white Dodge.
The victim and the suspects have not been named, nor has information been released if they are residents at the location of the shooting. That address is zoned to Seven Lakes High School.
Residents Share Concern on Social Media
Westheimer Lakes residents took to social media to express concern over the incident. Ashley Turner shared on the FBCSO Facebook group that she heard one shot from across the street.
"I thought it was fireworks," she wrote.
