The Katy weather has cooled just in time for October festivals and family-friendly events. This weekend, there are many reasons to get outside and celebrate the season - live music, festivals, remote-control airplanes and more. Get ready for a fun weekend Katy!
Friday, October 11- Sunday, October 13
901 Avenue C, Downtown Historic Katy
Enjoy the annual Katy tradition in Downtown Historic Katy. Friday’s free “Octoberfest” features live music, carnival rides, food trucks and a beer garden from 6:00-11:00pm.
The parade kicks off Saturday at 9:00am, and the festival runs from 10:00am-10:00pm. On Sunday, gates will be open from 12:00pm-6:00pm. Come enjoy quality arts and craft vendors, fun carnival rides, great live music, excellent food and drinks – fun for the whole family!
Tickets to the festival on Saturday and Sunday are only $5 per adults and children 12 and under are free.

The Space City Remote Club welcomes families to the Warbird Flying event this weekend in Katy. Experienced pilots will guide replicas from World War I to present-day military planes through acrobatic tricks in the air and precision formation flying.
The event is free. Strollers and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome too. Concessions will be available for purchase.

BB’s Tex Orleans serves a delicious brunch every weekend with Banana’s Foster French Toast, Tequila Mimosas, Eggs Benedict varieties, traditional faves, and much more. Live music runs from noon - 3:00pm Saturday and Sunday.

Enjoy games, pony rides, a petting zoo, Curly and Daisy balloon artists, face painting, inflatables, cake walk, music, food and so much more. Our wildly popular festival baskets will be full of fabulous donated items.
Tickets are only $1 for a chance to win. All proceeds go to benefit St. Peter's Early Childhood Development Center. Cash and credit cards will be accepted for all of the amazing attractions.

In conjunction with National Fire Safety Week, the Willowfork Fire Department will hold open houses at all three of its fire stations. Tour the stations, and meet firefighters. There will also be activities for the younger visitors, including a Junior Firefighter Obstacle Course and fun fire safety giveaways. There will also be a blood drive.

Current Church is hosting their 11th Annual Car Show featuring fun for the whole family this Saturday. All makes and models are welcome. Door prizes, music, free spectator admission.
