A Place for Katyites to Gather
WFDD's Central Green, located in Cinco Ranch's LaCenterra, is a public space designed for community gatherings and special events. Since 2013, Central Green has provided exciting events for the community, including a butterfly garden where families can learn about and witness the butterflies' life cycle.

"Celebrating back to school is the event where we all join together again as a community," says Wendy Duncan, Assistant Vice President Board of Directors WFDD. "It’s a wonderful reunion from the scattering that occurs during summer with vacations and visiting family. It’s always a joyous and exciting time to start fresh another school year."
