A man is believed to have fired multiple gunshots into the air near Katy ISD’s Memorial Parkway Elementary School on Wednesday afternoon. The incident prompted the District to alter dismissal plans to ensure everyone’s safety.

While the second phase of the Dryer renovation project continues to see delays, the development announced that The Katy Train, a ride on model, will soon be available to the public.

A man was electrocuted yesterday in Katy and flown via helicopter to a nearby hospital. The incident is believed to be the reason that some Katy residents experienced power outages yesterday in the north side of the city.
